FAQ

What is this all about?

Well, I have been in the entertainment business since 2006 and I have experience in TV, film, and theatre. I specialize in horror and have met many artists throughout my life that share my passion for the macabre. I am excited to not only show you their work but showcase some of my own as well. This is not your typical art gallery experience. Not only does it focus on horror-related art but also highlights horror-related entertainment. From ghost hunting/seance performances, film showings, food/wine tastings, and much much more.

You mentioned you specialize in horror art and my kid loves horror is this OK for him/her/them?

We do not recommend this for anyone under the age of 18. However, we leave that up to you as parents. You know your child's limits more than we do. We will say though that some of the art contains gore, depictions of suicide/murder, partial nudity, etc. This could be damaging for children and could be triggering for others as well

Where can I park?

There is no parking on our street but there are several parking lots in the Mill Race Village, just follow the P signs. You can park in any of those lots but we suggest you turn to the left at the stop sign and park in the lot next to Rock, Paper, Scissors, and walk up the pathway to the rear of RPS that leads right to our front door.  There are a couple of businesses in the area that only allow their customers to park in their spaces. Please pay attention to the signs so you don't end up ticketed or towed.

Anything else I should know?

We do not have any restrooms in our building so if you are coming for the show we recommend you enjoy one of the many restaurants/pubs/coffee shops in the area and use their facilities before arrival.

Is this just for Halloween?

No, we are open year-round and the art/events will change as the seasons do. There is no charge to enter the gallery but there is a fee for any of the events and our shows â€‹

What is the Zodiac Killer show?

This is a murder mystery game set in the 1970s (we encourage you to dress the part). The Zodiac Killer was a real serial killer who was never caught. His last letter stated he killed a woman in New York and this picks up where that left off. You are a psychic detective and are given a persona to learn. You will follow the clues to see if you can solve the case. It is all indoors so you will not have to worry about the weather in this game. It is very analytical but you will have a guide to help you through if you are stuck on a clue.

What about bringing kids to the show?

We do not allow anyone under the age of 13 at all and it is not recommended for anyone under 18. This is a murder mystery and has some adult themes. It is also as stated before quite analytical and we have found that most kids get bored with this type of game and it ends up not being fun for anyone involved. You are also sometimes paired with other team members and it isn't fair to them either. We are also surrounded by our art which as stated above is not appropriate for all ages.

How many people can attend the show?

We need to have a minimum of 2 people (we can pair single persons with others but we need a min of 2 to do the show). It is also a very small space and we have an 8-person table. So with the host, we can only fit a max of 7 customers. We can sometimes fit in one or two people if it is all the same family and you are ok with being very cramped in the space. The ticketing service will not allow you to buy past the 6 tickets though so you will have to contact us directly to set up any other arrangements.

Where do I get tickets?

Just click on the Book Now button on the Ghost hunt page, or visit www.theundercoverunit.com which also has additional information on the show.

What is your COVID Policy?

We feel like it's your choice whether or not to be vaccinated. We do however hope that you choose to be vaccinated and if you are already then you are welcome to come in without a mask. We are vaccinated and have had our booster but will still wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable.  It is apparent that you can still catch the virus even if you are vaccinated so we ask that you wear a mask if you are not vaccinated, have any symptoms, or have been exposed in any way that you feel you could have COVID. This of course is all dependent on local laws/regulations as they seem to change frequently. It is near impossible to social distance in our shows. Also, we do not require proof of vaccination so there is also no way for us to know who is or is not vaccinated. Knowing this you enter our gallery with the knowledge that you could contract the virus and you agree to follow all public health and safety guidelines for the activity and freely and voluntarily assume the risk of COVID-19 exposure.

This should answer most of your questions but in short, if you are a horror lover, ghost hunter, looking for a date idea, looking for things to do in Mount Holly NJ on your girls' night out, or just looking for things to do in Mount Holly NJ then this is the place to be. We hope to see you soon.
